Coffee rarity
This coffee is one of the most exciting lots from Basha Bekele, an Ethiopian Cup of Excellence-winning producer. Carefully selected coffee cherries were fermented in an anaerobic environment, resulting in a cup that is clean, distinctly intense and layered. In the cup, ripe tropical fruits, red berry notes, and floral aromas come together with a subtle winey, liqueur-like finish. It is a characterful yet highly drinkable coffee that clearly shows what an outstanding producer can bring out of the Sidamo terroir, and how anaerobic processing can add extra depth and complexity to an already exceptional coffee. The coffee was brought to Hungary by ETOP and was freshly roasted by the team at LARA Café ensuring it is presented at its very best.
